Working behind the scenes was Malania Dela Cruz PR extraordinaire who had the likes of Kelly Hoffman [ NYC freelance writer for US Elle.com, Refinery29 and Thought Catalouge], Jenn Campbell [Le Fashion, Le love, and Olsen Annoymous] NOT to mention I was sitting next to Vancouver's own Kristin Kreuk.

Maintaining the mayhem behind the scene was PR and Fashion Producer Lyndi Barrett, who made the show look effortless with Lizbell models Amy; who opened the show as well as Gracie, Bronte and Dasha.

Not to mention live DJ and candles engulfed around the runway.

Felt a little circa madaonna like a pray... all we needed the cross in the corner to catch on fire.AMAAZING.

yes, I said it star trek and fashion in the same sentence. If we looked at it the first time around we are thinking that these characters from deep space nine are extremely goofy but if you break away and look at the pieces you will see that star trek was really in the future.

If is not exactly like today's product but the inspiration is defiantly there. I have to admit that I have seen almost ever episode of star trek and I say that with pride in being a dork. I'm pretty sure that one designer at one time or another drew inspiration for this phenomenon.

I hope this gives you inspiration and also not to judge the dorks, they are on to more than you think.

Nicole Obidowski a VCC grad Designer has designs that every woman will want to wear.

Her collection is simple, soft, elegant and not ordinary.

To the fabrics of silk and her compilation of nude jeans with tye-dye patchwork is it basically effortless.
Perfect for Spring.

Her dresses are one garment that stand out to me, her draping throughout the garment fall in all the right places to give you that whimsical feeling. I am in love with her coats, if you don't already know I am all for over sized, and this is one jacket that can give you that over sized feeling but fits your body. Plus silk lining is always a plus.

Nicole does not play around with fabric, she only gets the best quality and it shows.

She also experimented with Leather- go to her perfectly cute leather knapsack, I'm sorry but how much more can I be in love with this collection.

In my opinion this is one grad that will make it to the top.
